COMPETITION RULES & REGULATIONS
  1. If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from your parent/legal guardian to enter this competition.
  2. Minimum age is 9; maximum age is 23.
  3. Your solo dance video may be from a performance or simply video taped in your home.
  4. You must be a member of a studio that currently participates with L.A. DanceMagic Conventions & Competitions, and is registered with the city you are auditioning for. Furthermore, you must be in good standing with your studio.
  5. All routines and costumes must be age appropriate and suitable for family viewing.
  6. Music may not contain profanity.
  7. Your video may not include any other performer/dancer other than yourself.
  8. Posting inappropriate video content or material, will result in immediate disqualification and denial of participation at any L.A. DanceMagic event.
  9. Voting polls open 3 weeks before each event and stay open for 14 days. All votes are final.
  10. If you are voted the winner, you will be assisting only at the city for which you entered.
  11. Winners will receive no compensation monetarily or otherwise for participation. However, if you are voted the LADM Assistant in your city, you win free tuition to that city! (This applies to convention tuition only. It does not apply to competition fees, hotel, or any other expenses.)

By entering this competition, I and my parent/legal guardian acknowledge full responsibility and jointly and severally hereby forever releases, discharges and acquits L.A. DanceMagic, including Dave Carter, Jackie Sleight and all associates from any and all contracts, claims, suits, actions and liabilities for damages or injuries of any kind resulting from any sort of participation at L.A. DanceMagic Convention & Competition. This release shall be binding upon and inure to the representatives. In addition, I and my parent/legal guardian on behalf of the parties registered authorize L.A. DanceMagic the use of my image for any and all advertising purposes. Contest winners, under the age of 18, must be accompanied for the entire weekend by a parent or legal guardian. L.A. DanceMagic reserves the right to review, approve or refuse entries.
